I just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve done some research and put together a
discography of all the recordings I’ve appeared on either as a producer or as a sideman. Noticeably missing from the list at the time of this posting are any recordings made under the name “Bloompocket,” but of course,
that will be changing soon (you’ll be the first to know!).

Whenever one compiles a list of the “top”
anything unbounded controversy is almost certain to ensue. However, with this list, the last thing I’m looking to do is to inspire debate. I realize that there may be many “house purists” who will disapprove of my exclusion of many of the classics from the early days of house music. However, this is a list of favorites from the perspective of a jazz musician-turned-house head, which, as I will be the first to tell you, is an unusual perspective at this stage in music history.
