Moi (sax), Charlie Peterson (trumpet), Duane Benjamin (trombone)

For those of you who have noticed me rattling on since this past April about a tune I’m working on by the name of “All Around Us,” you may be asking yourself, “what type of a whack-job spends 7 months on the same song and is STILL working on it?! Who does this guy think he is - Brian Wilson?!? (more…)

Get the Flash Player to see this player.

To be more precise, it’s actually a song I wrote with my Monkey Bars partner in crime, Gabriel D Vine as well as Alex Lang, and was the reason we were offered a deal with Subliminal Records in 2001. (more…)

My Discography Added to Website

November 2nd, 2008
I just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve done some research and put together a discography of all the recordings I’ve appeared on either as a producer or as a sideman. Noticeably missing from the list at the time of this posting are any recordings made under the name “Bloompocket,” but of course, that will be changing soon (you’ll be the first to know!). (more…)

me with Henry Mancini after winning the jazz instrumental category in the 1993 Music Center Spotlight Awards

jamming with Halo in Las Vegas

jamming with Halo in Las Vegas

While I’m still getting around to putting a proper bio up here somewhere, in the meantime, I don’t think I can really introduce myself to you guys without mentioning the whole sax/jazz music dimension.

Despite my excessive and extravagant production studio, you’ll be shocked to learn that music production was actually not my entry point into the world of music. (more…)

my entire recording studio at the the time of this posting

For those (very few) of you who haven’t the slightest idea of who I am, if you are a fan of house music, you might remember the production duo I was a part of called Monkey Bars. We recorded an album and some singles for Subliminal Records as well as a slew of other tracks and remixes for labels such as OM, Moonshine, Aquarius, Nettwerk, Vanguard and a bunch of others, including our very own Clover Club Recordings.
